Tiffany Nicole Triplett was a feisty 5'4" young lady full of life and determination. Her initials were TNT, and her personality exemplified that to the fullest extent. Most people remember her big smile and her generous heart.
Being a majorette and a representative of the FCHS Band was a vital part of Tiffany's life in high school. She had no background training in twirling, but she was determined to learn. She lived and breathed twirling. She considered it an honor, and took her responsibility as a majorette very seriously. It laid the groundwork for her to go on and twirl at the University of Kentucky. That was a whole new level of difficulty and expectations, but she set her mind to do it, and she proudly and successfully twirled for the Wildcat Marching Band for four years.
Tiffany's love for twirling didn't end with the personal satisfaction of twirling. She wanted other girls to share the love she had for twirling, so she started teaching them the skills to be able to twirl. She developed lasting friendships with girls, years of training, but she had the heart of a champion.
There is an old saying that "big things come in small packages", and that certainly describes Tiffany. She was often the smallest majorette on the line, but she didn't mind working the hardest to be HER best. She was the "sister" to her fellow majorettes, the encourager, the choreographer, and coach to the girls who called her their mentor and friend. She was the emotional support system for the friend battling breast cancer and needed a shoulder to lean on. She helped get another friend into rehab for substance abuse when others had turned away. She had so much fun making handmade cards for a group of special needs children. All of these acts of kindness were done with no attention on herself and with no attention on herself and with no desire for recognition. All done at a time when she was fighting her own silent battle---a battle with a disease that would take her from us much too soon, but one that could NEVER dampen her spirit or darken that big smile.
Who is Tiffany Triplett? She was and IS our bright, smiling firecracker---TNT, and she loved being a majorette.
